Dressed With Hair
05:13
|
|||
I wanna break out
leave this mess behind me
I wanna get out
everyday seems to be the same
get up early go to work
just a gear in one huge machine
surrounded by corpses
I'm rising from the dead and leave
so I burn my money
and turn my body
to go away from town
on a sunny day
I gave my clothes away
only dressed with hair from now
at last I'm alive
I'm living in the untamed wilderness
at last I'm free
nothing more, nothing less
everything feels right
but somehow I feel lonely, too
besides it's a hard way –
to walk, especially without shoes
I burned my money
and turned my body [...]
what have I done?
I threw everything I had away
I'm starving, I'm freezing, it's cold here and I'm bare
mankind isn't made to be only dressed with hair

Clive Of The Forest
04:33
|
|||
out there in the forest
lives a lumberjack called Clive
he never leaves his cabin
has no friends, no kid, no wife
his father was a sailor
who lived no ordinary life
a strong man with a bottle
who never feared a strife
one day he went out fishing
never to return
some say he sunk and drowned
but they will never learn
next to
the house where Clive grew up
lived a married girl called Jane
he was always behind the curtain
when she walked across the lane
she never had an eye for him
and he couldn't stand the pain
one night he dragged her down his basement
put her body in chain
it didn't take a long time
for her husband to find out
but Clive was chopping wood
and smashed the axe into his snout
when father-sailor came back home
and found the bloody mess
he knew they must get rid of Jane
and shot her in the chest
he hurried the bodies to his ship
so Clive need not confess
the last thing he saw of his dad
was a spot on the horizon
a ship gone far, far west.

Born So Blue
04:57
|
|||
I was born so blue
there's nothing I can do
I was born so blue, yeah it's true
since I stepped out my mom
everything's going' wrong
since I stepped out my mom
my misery's holding on
I was born so blue
got holes in my shoe
I was born so blue, yeah it's true
I am a lonesome man
my cat is my only friend
I am a lonesome man
lonely 'til the end
I was born so blue
wish I could be happy, too
I was born so blue, yeah it's true
I never learned to laugh
when I try stops my breath
I never learned to laugh
and I will not until death

Place To Die
05:20
|
|||
I'm sitting in my saddle
hungry and my mouth feels dry
my horse is getting tired
but this is not the place to die
I go ahead for money
my work here is done
tied behind the horse
hangs a victim of my gun
I hope to see my love again
it's far too long ago
but first I have to do my job
although I miss her so
it's been years since I left
thinking about home makes me sigh
city grows at the horizon
no here's not the place to die
after all that time
I hope she remembers at all
my love for her is growing
the more the distance gets tall
I reach the city in the morning
the price for the body was high.
so I take the money and I take a train
and hope to reach the place
I can die.

Train Back Home
03:32
|
|||
rattle of a train
wheels on rail
banging on my head
like a hammer on a nail
pattering rain
in the cold night
flashes in the clouds
turning darkness into light
body full of pain
way is way too long
hope you be there
when I'm coming back home.
body full of pain
way is way too long
hope you be there
when I'm coming back home.
